Tenex (guanfacine) : To my knowledge, this is a medication for high blood pressure.It is not associated with weight loss.Is this the medication you were thinking of?

Guanfacine: This medication is associated with possible side effect of weight gain. However about 15% of people experience decreased appetite - so if anyone does lose weight, that might be the reason.
