Tenex (guanfacine): Tenex (guanfacine) is an antihypertensive , but has been used for adhd. Your child is a bit young for the diagnosis. Maybe you should get a second opinion.

Tenex (guanfacine): Tenex (guanfacine) is an antihypertensive medication. It is used to keep adults and children calm if they have heart conditions. It is an off label use for adhd and mirrors the effects of Intuniv - a long acting form of Tenex (guanfacine) prescribed for adhd.
