How long does it take for topamax (topiramate) to start to work?

Awhile: Topamax (topiramate) is an antineuropathic. Primarily a seizure med it will take time for titration to an effective dose. Starting slow and incrementally increasing the dose slowly allows for accommodation to side effects. Look for some relief of symptoms as the dose is optimized.
