Topamax (topiramate) for weight: Although many experience some weight loss with topamax (topiramate) there is no guarantee that you will have the same experience. At 200 mg you need to be on the look out for side effects such as oligohydrosis.(reduced ability to sweat), glaucoma, kidney stones, impaired verbal fluency, low magnesium and acidosis (to name a few). Weight loss often requires a several modifications in lifestile.
