Keep getting severe headaches i take topamax (topiramate) 50mg twice a day but the otc meds do not work. what do i do?

Some answers: It would help to know what kind of headaches you have. They may be migraines. I cannot tell from this information.
If you have frequent migraines, preventive medicine is recommended. How frequently do you have them? Preventive medicine may not stop them, but ideally, it should reduce them.
You should also have something to stop the migraines when the start. An abortive medicine - triptan.
