Earplugs: Try earplugs... Although helping the person who is snoring with a c-pap or snore guard is the best way.

For you or partner?: If your partner is the snorer, try earplugs, white noise, or as a last resort, sleep in the spare bedroom. If you are the really loud snorer, try simple things like sleeping on your side, lose weight, avoid alcohol and sedatives within a few hours of bedtime etc. See your md for a sleep study to make sure you don't have sleep apnea which is more serious. Your dentist can make an appliance to help.
