Indications: I think the most important question is whether it should be done to begin with. Whether to fix a clavicle depends on many factors and must be tailored to the individual patient. Many clavicles are better left to heal on their own. The question to ask is whether your individual situation warrants surgery, and what the outcomes are with and without surgery.

Clavicle surgery: Your surgeon should go over risks, benefits, and potential complications with you before surgery. You should ask as many questions as you need to so that you are as relaxed as you can be. Ask your surgeon how many times they perform this procedure every month. Results of every procedure correlate directly with how frequently the surgeon and entire team performs it. Don't be afraid to ask!
