Get some help: I would suggest that you start by letting your doctor know. If it's not an exaggeration that you're "always" anxious, make an appointment right away. It's not necessary to be always anxious, so get some relief by seeking professional help. Meditation (or "the relaxation response"), exercise, good diet, and other behavioral factors can help, as can cbt and following your doctor's recommendations.

Lots of things.: Hello. Many options are available. Consider: on- line support groups, cognitive behavioral therapy, yoga, acupuncture, meditation, deep breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation, a medical evaluation to rule out medical causes of anxiety or a psychiatric evaluation to see if medications are indicated. Good luck.

Stay active: Exercise is a great way to relieve stress. Your body releases endorphins during exercise, which can help you feel calm. If you exercise 30 - 60 minutes a day, your stress levels can improve. When stressed, take 5 slow, deep breaths with your eyes closed, then roll your shoulders forward 5 times, then back 5 times. This will slow your heart rate and release tension in your neck and shoulders.
