No: Marijuana is not necessary for good health. It can cause increased anxiety and paranoia as well in some. But, while many people say that they use marijuana to relieve stress there are superior natural remedies that have no side effects such as increased movement through space (walking, running, swimming, surfing, bicycling, dancing, yoga, weight training, sports of all kinds) and meditation.
