What are some foods that i can consume after periodontal surgery?

Soft and bland foods: I would focus on soft foods like yogurt, eggs, milk shakes and avoid spicy or acidic foods or foods that contain vinegar.

Soft foods: Yogurt, eggs, well cooked pasta or rice, oatmeal, delicate types of fish such as sole, soft breads.

Depends/soft: Here's the short answer due to space limitations: immediately after surgery - meal replacement drinks are best. After a few days soft foods can usually be introduced. Try to avoid hard or crunchy foods completely. Because periodontal surgeries vary in type, you should discuss this issue on a case by case basis with your periodontist - the size of the wound and your health/healing issues too.
