Stop: We have not examined you and thus cannot treatment plan your case. would suggest that you see both a specialist Orthodontist and a specialist Periodontist about your issues. Your General Dentist, the Orthodontist, and the Periodontist can then discuss your case with each other to properly stage our treatment. For example, surgical periodontal procedures are often best accomplished after Ortho.

Unknown: Once your surgery is successful and you have good bone support and oral hygiene than your periodontist will consult with your orthodontist as when to start treatment.
