CBC and CRP- needed: CBC is a complete blood count and is should be included on many visits, particularly if you take drugs which can cause anemia or have been anemic. Crp is a test for a serious surrogate for inflammation in the body. It can be elevated with infection, rheumatologic inflammation, and in type -2 diabetics, or even those with metabolic syndrome without dm. It is a predictor of heart disease.

CBC CRP: CBC stands for complete blood count and looks at the different types of blood cells you have. It is used to diagnose conditions like anemia and infection. CRP stands for c reactive protein which is a marker for inflammation.
