A member asked:

I have absolute lymphocytes high 4.5 normal lab(3.9) all other cbc normal.crp sgot sgpt normal.does it cause of concern?i am very worried,?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

May be ok, but...: Lab results usually are numbers, and numbers are just numbers, with little meaning unless a doctor takes in the whole picture of what's going on with his patient. If a patient's blood WBC differential is slightly outside the reference range, the ordering doctor may or may not consider the result a problem, depending on the patient's previous results, symptoms, medications, past history, etc...
