My l/ index finger has been swollen for a week. had xray + labs 3 days ago. xray showed swollen tissue only. labs (c reactive protein, uric acid, cbc w/diff all normal). doesn't hurt unless i bend. can only bend 50%. not getting better or worse?

Trauma?: Need to history, trauma etc. Whether soft tissues discolored, or increased in temperature. Have you applied cold compresses or any other therapy? 3 days is short period of time to notice significant change. If swelling continues without cause see your physician again.
