Depends: This depends upon what is being done. Reconstruction after trauma or birth defect? Lid turning in or out (entropion, ectropion), drooping lid (ptosis) , tumor removal, cosmetic blepharoploasty? These all have different prices. Ask your treating ophthalmologist or plastic surgeon about the cost.

Cost of surgery?: The cost of eyelid surgery will vary depending on what you have done (upper or lower lids, or both), if a general anaesthetic is required, facility where it is performed and where you live. A ball park for doing upper or lower lids is between $3500 and $5000.

Variable Cost: Eyelid surgery may be performed for medical reasons, which could be covered by your insurance provider. Cosmetic eyelid surgery varies based on the complexity of the procedure and your geographic market. Plastic surgery fees may include surgeon, anesthesia, and operative facility fees. Ranges for eyelid surgery typically are thousands of dollars.
