Routine Pre-Op exam: As with cataract surgery, the same goes for laser treatment that vision must be compromised both subjectively and objectively to be a suitable candidate as well as approved treatment covered by insurance. To justify necessity for treatment, it is important to refract prior to check visual acuity, and also thereafter to verify that the cause for visual disturbance has been accurately targeted.
