Don't self-diagnose: Having said that, i applaud you for doing research. Dry eyes & other factors may preclude you from having any eyelid surgery. For lower eyelids, it is mainly for bulging fat which would not be improved by filling in the groove below the eye bag. For upper eyelids, it is for hooding or excess skin touching the eyelashes, but not for hollowing which could make the hollowing problem worse.
