A member asked:

Black eye, blood in eyeball? is it bad for my vision?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: If the blood is on the inside of the eye, this is a hyphema and could be dangerous to your vision. If the blood is on the part of your eye that is normally white, this is generally harmless, but could indicate other trauma has occurred. You should have any eye trauma checked out by an ophthalmologist.
