A member asked:

Why does my overactive bladder cause incontinence?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Several reasons: Overactive bladder means the bladder is sending signals that you need to go. Sometimes the signal is too much to hold back and the bladder contracts. If your urinary sphincter can't hold it back then you leak. That's called urge incontinence. Sounds like you need to get checked out by your doctor or a urologist.
