A member asked:

My doctor prescribed clazol instead plavix (clopidogrel) and aspirin for me; what is the advantage if there is one?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Similar: Plavix (clopidogrel) and clazol both inhibit platelet aggregation. Plavix (clopidogrel) is associated with a slighly higher risk of lowering the platelet count than clazol. However, clazol is usually contraindicated in patients with class 3 or 4 heart failure.
