No test: Adrenal fatigue is not considered a medical problem by physicians because there is no test to prove the diagnosis. It's all from symptoms. Adrenal insufficiency is the recongnized disease and can be diagnosed through blood/urine test (acth stimulatory test).

Saliva: Adrenal fatigue is very common but under diagnosed. There is data using an evidence based approach that shows the effects of stress on adrenal function. The best test is a saliva test (collected at 4 times during the day). An integrative/ functional medicine doctor can help point you in the right direction for testing as well as treatment.
