Can you still have adrenal insufficiency or adrenal fatigue if your basic kidney tests are normal? my cmp was normal. are there additional tests to diagnose it?

CMP does not test for adrenal function directly. It would be prudent to consult an endocrinologist for an assessment and selection of appropriate tests. Adrenal has multiple functions and multiple hormones hence the need to consult a specialist.

There are more common causes of chronic fatigue than adrenal insufficiency. The endocrinologist or a specialist in internal medicine will take a thorough history& system review, perform a complete physical examination & order appropriate testing in order to make a differential diagnosis & advise you. Entities like anemia, thyroid disorders, iron or vitamin deficiency are also some pertinent tests
