ABSCESS DRAINAGE: Surgical abscess drainage is a minor surgical procedure depending on the location of the abscess. Incision and drainage ( i&d) is usually done by surgeon with or without anesthesia and pain is nil and recovery rapid with antibiotic intake for the infection.
