What kind of surgery is done for complete opacification of left frontal sinus as well as of its drainage pathway and moderate anterior left ethmoid sinus opacification no air fluid levels? what is recovery like? do you lose your sense of smell &taste?

May not need surgery depending on what is going on. Discuss with your own Dr as you did not give us enough info to make even a guess. Discuss with the ENT who is seeing you to get his expert opinion on what is needed and what might happen in people like you who are your age and with your other problems. Would you like your car Dr to make a diagnosis over the phone??
