See your MD : There is a complication from your surgery that needs to be corrected. A fistula can be repaired and should be addressed by your surgeon.

Yes it can be. But that is your self diagnosis and may be inaccurate. If you had abscesses in colon and rectum it is inconceivable that your GI doc would say it is no big concern. See a surgeon
