Bone strength: The best way to increase bone density is through a combination of adequate calcium and vitamin d intake, along with weight bearing exercise. If you are a post-menopausal female, ask your health care provider to order a DEXA scan to meausre your bone density.

Fruits, vegetables: Ideally you would want to take plenty of calcium, vitamin d, fruits and vegetables. Calcium is also used by the body to balance the ph, so a highly acidic diet can cause calcium to be pulled from the bone as well.
