I am going to have radiation on my very painful shoulders soon. Do they just keep on using radiation for pain whenever/wherever you have it? I ask because I am now getting left hip pain. I looked at my bone scan and it says I have mets there also?

Had bone scan and sides of pelvis, spine, top of skull are dark. Are dark areas always indicative of some abnormality - or are some areas always dark?
