Hip pain : Sounds like it is nerve irritation. Nerve may be irritated at site of spine surgery or locally at site if donor bone graft.

Bone graft pain?: I highly doubt that bone graft would cause much weakness other than buttock or hip. Anything past the knee, in my opinion, is unrelated to the graft and more likely pain from the fusion surgery or decompression. Pain after surgery is not uncommon, and even may worsen for a time before improvement. But "severe" is concerning and would be evaluated if my patient called and reported this.
