I am going to have radiation on my very painful shoulders soon. do they just keep on using radiation for pain whenever/wherever you have it? i ask because i am now getting left hip pain. i looked at my bone scan and it says i have mets there also?

The radiation will alleviate your pain and can be given for multiple mets, and lower dose is sometimes used in that case. The radiation oncologist can advise you best. Also there a few types of radiation therapy for metastastic deposits.
