Tooth high: Call your dentist right away. A tooth that's high or too long can create a toothache even with a root canal because there's still a live ligament that surrounds the root. By shortening the tooth it will take reassure off ligament

Endodontist: A 3 rooted tooth is a complicated root canal. Was it done by an endodontist? If not, and your dentist cannot solve the problem ask for a referral to an endodontist - who is a root canal specialist.

Complex: Depending on the condition of the tooth when RCT started, the current pain may have multiple causes. If it was infected with drainage, it may take time to resolve.
