Everybody heals: Differently as is everyone's pain threshold. I'm assuming you have been on antibiotics and analgesics. Best to consult with the treating doctor for a follow up if it persists. Hope this helps.

Post op check: Lots of things can cause this. 1. Infection still active 2. Foreign particle in the socket 3. Normal healing is slow. Physical trauma. Have it looked at by the guy who extracted the tooth.
