Recommend consulting with a endodontist is recommended and a new cone beam image with a unit designed for endodontics could help reveal the cause of the persistent symptoms.

May lose it: It seems the root canal treatment is failing. 1. Redo it. 2. If root is fractured, remove tooth.. 3. If redo doesn't work, extraxt it. Thank g-d for implants.

See a specialist: I would recommend that you ask your dentist for a referral to an endodontist (a root canal specialist) to determine why you are still having pain on a tooth that has had a previous root canal treatment.
