Repair of Retina: Often a retinal tear can be repaired by laser. This is the safest, gentlest, most comfortable approach with the quickest recovery. Using an indirect ophthalmoscope simply means that your eye surgeon will use special headgear and a handheld lens to see into the periphery of your eye and use a foot pedal control to deliver the laser pulses. Good luck.
