I have emaculate delegation and had a small tear in my left eye retina. i had it taken care of with lazer i have a black dot in my eye, definitely not a floater, in my left eye that will not go away had it for 2 days?

Diagnosis of an eye problem is difficult without an exam. PL see your ophthalmologist ASAP

Macular degeneration (AMD) is unrelated to a retinal tear. It's good that you had the tear treated (hopefully successfully) with laser. The most likely cause, by far, of the black dot you're describing is a floater (posterior vitereous detachment), although bleeding (wet AMD) can cause something similar. In any event, see your ophthalmologist for exam.
