No problem: After you heal from laser retinopexy (repair) fully, there should be no problem with using contact lenses again.

Ok: Contact lens wear is ok if the cornea is fine. Retinal tears affect the inside of the eye.

Hi doctors. My opthalmologist saw 2 peripheral horseshoe tears in my right eye. He sent me to a retina specialist who also saw the 2 horseshoe tears. Both doctors want to take a watch & observe approach, and not do laser. Why would they not do laser?
