Not uncommon: to experience a few effects when starting antidepressant. Give it some more time to even out. If at 4 weeks you're still having some effects talk to the provider who started the Lexapro (escitalopram) about switching to a medication less likely to cause sedation. Lexapro (escitalopram) sedation: Sedation may occur with Lexapro, (escitalopram) but it is not common. Speak with you doctor about adjusting the dosage or switching to a more activation anti-depressant medication.
