Half-life: The half life of lexapro (escitalopram) is between 24-32 hours - it's best to assume the longer for safety. So, after 32 hrs, you'd have 5mg in you - after 64, 2.5mg - that'sunder 3 days - but the word is that FULL clearance can be 6-8 days for people who have been taking it regularly. Talk w/ tihe Dr who prescribed - don't stop on your own w/o advice on tapering.
