Talk to your doctor : You can take hydroxyzine. However, you can experience increased sedation from this combination. Be careful not to drive after taking the medication at night. Also, avoid the use of alcohol. Talk to your doctor about how to wean off of Xanax (alprazolam). If you have been on this for a long time, it may take several weeks to safely come off.
