Blood in urine: Blood in the urine is never a normal finding. It could come from a uti, bleeding from the bladder (b) or the kidneys. I would first get a urine culture. If it is negative, the next step is a renal ultrasound and an ivp to assess the structure of the kidneys and to see if there are kidney stones or a tumor present. If of these negative, you need to see a urologist to look at your urinary bladder.
