If i have moderate blood on urine dipstick. but microscopic exam was performed but i had no rbc in urine. it was normal range. like how is this possible. where is the blood coming from?

Broken red cells: Urine dip stick will give positive result if there is hemoglobin from broken red cells. In such a case no red cells may be seen on microscopic examination, but the importance is the same. Talk to the doctor who ordered the test as s/he knows more about your health and the reason for doing the test.
