A member asked:

I broke my jaw last year, i have recently noticed that i have started clenching my jaw. could that be related to accident. should i see my dentist?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Clenching: See your dentist about clenching. It is hard to say if this is related to your broken jaw but it could be. It may also be related to stress in your life, habits, sleep apnea, or other dental problems. Clenching can cause pain and headaches and be very destructive to your teeth so this needs to be evaluated and treated.see your dentist ASAP.
