Urachal cyst: There are several causes of umbilical cysts and fluid drainage, the most common in adults being a "urachal cyst." This is a congenital cyst that arises from incomplete separation of the bladder and the umbilicus (belly button) during fetal development. Urachal cysts can become infected so you need to see a doctor. S'he can order a CT scan or ultrasound to confirm the diagnosis. Best wishes!
