Lumbar puncture: This is a stick with a needle, similar to drawing blood, and it should heal over fairly quickly. Not sure that I would term it a "wound" although technically you may be correct.

7-10 days: It should close up almost immediately, then the puncture wound should heal up in the next 7-10 days. If it has not or if you experience pain, redness or pus at the site please see a doctor right away.
