If just a simple: Paraspinal or iliopsoas strain, between 3-5 days you should be able to get back to normal activities sometimes up to a week. Any more than that and you should check in with your physician. Most important, do not lay in bed. This makes back pain worse and slows healing. Stay active with light activities-walking, household stuff, keep moving. Hope you feel better soon!
