A member asked:

How long does a pelvis/lumbar strain take to heal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

3-4 weeks: Most sprains of muscles and ligaments heal in 3-4 weeks. During this time it is good to rest the hurt area and not push yourself hard(to exercise). Once the pain has settlerd down, then slowly mobilize yourself with walking at a pace which is tolerable. Then gradually increase your walking which is the best exercise to bring this area back to normal. Avoid bending if it hurts.
