Sore calves: For musculoskeletal pain consider NSAIDs, an epsom salt bath, massage, warm soaks after 24 hours. Rarely there may be clot ( very rare if both calves-but usually anterior thighs hurt ) but consider urgent care/ER/doctor evaluation to evaluate for the rare possibility of clot, especially in smoker( which should be done today). Also evaluation for claudication.
