Brush: Germs cause plaque, and they will always live in the mouth, so plaque will always be forming. The only way to control it is to brush often. Mouthwash can help cut down on germs as well, but all of these tactics will only reduce plaque for a short time. They have to be repeated 2-3 times a day, every day.

Brush & Floss: Brush your teeth after every meal. Floss once of twice daily. Use a mouth rinse, like ACT, twice daily. Visit dentist at least twice yearly for professional cleanings and assessments. Avoid sweets in general.
