Tiny red finger like sores on underside of tongue. very painful. not typical canker sore. what could it be? how to ease pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Glossitis: Could be inflammation of the tongue which we call glositis which could be anywhere on the tongue, but if it is on undersurface alone, it is on both sides of the cnetral fold- frenulam(a partition). R/o foods that could have caused allergy/Bcomplex vitamin deficiency/habits like excess candies ingestion. Need to r/o infections arising in that area . Also need to r/o apthous ulcers, common condn.
