Tongue side is inflamed and irritated with a raised bumpy white line and a white/ red dot that i think is a canker sore starting, what could this be?

It could be: It could be a raised bumpy white line and a whit/red dot. For a differential diagnosis the lesion would have to be examined. Rule of thumb is that any red or white or swollen area of more that 14 days duration from onset requires additional investigation. So if it's not completely gone in 2 weeks see your Dentist or an Oral Surgeon immediately.
