Canker sores can be caused by a variety of triggers: minor injury from dental work, vigorous brushing or sharp food, products containing sodium lauryl sulfate, acidic foods, diet lacking in vit B12, zinc, folate or iron, stress, hormone fluctuations. It begins with painful ulcerated round lesions that heal over 2 weeks. If the ulcerated center is gone, that means that the lesion is healing/normal.

Sounds normal. If it continues to heal, keep it under observation. If not, go see your Dentist.
